Shooting Pacific Yew Longbow

This Yew bow is just newly tillered and now being put through the paces to see how it holds up. I have yet to sand it and do finishing touches.

There are videos of me actually building this very bow right here on the site . It came from a very twisted stave but I managed to create the back and belly to follow it and there is a defect in a precarious location…but its proving to weather it. Its the cool thing about “It’s Your Bow” in that you will often see the journey of raw stave to finished bow..maybe not in total details but get the idea of it’s path from nature to functionality and beauty.

Nathan also tested this new Yew Longbow..as always with excellent form
